that shoud have read astoness,
yes steph im astoness on the birmingham history forum...the member researching the jelf family is astonian..folk are alway getting us mixed up.
there are no rowbothams either at key hill or warstone lane cems...but during 1954/5 the remains of 36 unidentified bodies were removed from st thomas an interred in catacomb 9 at key hill...im afraid we have no way of finding out if clara was one of the 36 steph..i can only suggest that you contact st thomas church if it still exists and find out for certain if she was originally buried there...

does anyone know how i can find out where she was laid to rest in 1927, is there perhaps a general search.

Steph
You could try here,
http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/cs/Satellit...apper%2FWrapper
But I understand from that website that burials stopped in1908 so Clara must have been buried elswhere, but you could have a look at the site or get access to the archives for a search.

Steph,
I willtake you up on your offer.
Any chance of finding any more info on Charles Holder of Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire - married on 22nd May 1810 to a Martha Hone, if I have those dates right but I think 1810 is correct.
I think he - Charles Holder died 14thJan 1866.
I wonder how many children they had.
Thanks, if you can find anything.
Lynn.
