Afternoon all,
Was nice and sunny earlier, but now looks like a storm is brewing.
Bloke feeding seagulls,and a couple of flowers for the ladies,don't know what the pink one is.

No good asking me John, I was banned from our garden because I didn't know the difference between a weed and a flower.

Thanks my lovely friends...........it has been hard not knowing what is going to happen job wise but the luck fairy has smiled on us today.

A lot of people I know have gotten employment that way. It's a safe way for employers to check someone out without commitment. I always advise people who are looking for work to have a go at temping or casual, because you never know what it can lead to if you are the right stuff, which Jim obviously is.

Jim was concerned he had not done well at the formal interview but I think we all think that,hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Morning Astoness,
I was up at my usual time, around 7am, but I'm a bit slow getting started this moning.
I have just spent twenty minutes having a look at Phils pictures in "The Streets of The City" thread and another ten pondering the pub in his "Where is This " thread.

Looks like it will be a nice day today but I don't suppose you will be taking it easy in the garden?
