Well a strange sort of day ahead.Antiques road trip is coming to my place of work,David Barby and Charles Hanson.

My boss will serve them but it will be fun to watch how they put the programme together.

Tonight over to Tamworth for my aunt's 80th Birthday party.I will see members of my family I have not seen properly for years, only see them at funerals sadly.Tonight will be party time so looking forward to that.Only trouble is I have not got anything to wear for a party, only old stuff but I suppose I will come up with something. My friend is going to do my hair and nails so busy busy busy.

What to buy for a lady of 80?,I have decided Champagne as it is such a special Birthday.

About the phone,I have bought the dammed thing now so I think computer son might be capable of sorting it.........thanks for the advice .The lead to the socket is missing .

I do like it though,I have a few retro phones as they do remind me of my younger days, the sixties type that is LOL

Denise, don't think of your Aunt as old. When I worked at the Albany Hotel I worked the bar for an 82 year old lady's hen party,
There were about 30 women most over sixty five, some up to ninety.
I spent the evening in fear for my life. One of the best parties I had ever seen. Oh I was 21 by the way.

Had a nice day out today, celebrating the great grandsons 2nd Birthday. We went to the beach at Heart Park in Meriden, I enjoyed the day but I have to say that I thought that the £9.00 entrance fee was a bit of a rip off when you take into account what was there. Some water and some sand.

The kids enjoyed it though, so thats the main thing. I think what I enjoyed most was the bag of chips we bought in Meriden on the way home.

Here's my tribute to a talented young girl who mixed with the wrong people and couldn't save herself, such a tragic loss.
