I suppose the Council have got some young kid about 17 in charge of the website who cant remember as far back as yesterday let alone 4 decades. I think you are right about the Avenue one and the Great Lister St one is on the corner of Willis St. I don't think the the photos will upload to site because I don't think the site accepts gif format. There are not many formats it doesn't accept but that is one of them.

Don't you feel just the least bit guilty going out on the town with the old mans hard earned. I suppose you are going to tell us you only spent what you made at the car boot.

This site does accept GIF image uploads although it may treat the thumbnail in an odd way.
The upload info states "Only the following file types up to a maximum size of 2 MBytes are supported:
.jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png, .sxw, .pdf, .txt, .doc, .docx, .pptx, .ppsx, .xlsx, .odt, .sxc, .xls, .zip, .rar, .mp3, .vsd, .ppt, .xml"
It also appears to convert some GIFs to JPGs in order to show them full size, unless Signmans GIF was a misnamed JPG.
In any event I have replaced it with a JPG.

Morning All,
Miserable morning here, hoping it will clear up but doubtful.
Volty any idea why the site has problems with gif formatted files I'm sure someone else had a problem before? I could get an explanation from Xobor but I wouldn't be able to understand it.

I've had a little play Phil and I think it may be due to the size of the file. Some are only a couple of kilobytes which is barely enough to contain the formatting information so I suspect those are the ones that behave unexpectedly. The file will upload but there is no thumbnail.
Perhaps Signman could change the filename of his missing GIFs to JPGs and then upload them, I can then harvest them from the admin area, rename them and have a play.

Hi all .Went to Grandparent's assembly and they were all so cute.
Nice and sensible school, you are allowed to take pics as long as for private use.So that was good.
Each member of the class had to say what was good about their mummy, ours said cus she takes him to McDonalds. My Daughter was mortified.

Talking about schools, a little more on my grandsons entry to KEGS, the headmaster of King Edwards Camp Hill rang up his parents yesterday saying that as he had done so well in his entrance exam he was being given the choice of the two schools. The headmaster was advising that Alex chose his school because of the fact that they achieved better results. He also told his parents that he came 4th out of 92 successful applicants out 6000 who tried this year.
