Morning all, have been for my morning jog in the fog, really thick here, can't even see the beach from the road.
Doing the drawings today for the Westbourne sign, signwrite tomorrow, and fix on Saturday.
Then hopefully I will have some time to myself, now going to make a big chicken stew and Jack Daniels bread pudding,a hangover in every slice.

I think it comes down to who you trust and employ to carry out the scanning.

She was one classy dame, house shared with another famous blonde at one time, namely MM.
Morning All
A bit overcast here, but I have no doubt it will clear later. We had a little rain last night.

I agree with John, Shelley Winters was indeed a " one classy dame" in her heyday and she measured up to all of her contemporaries in every respect.

Phil,
Just got these from the central archive, another example of wrong titling.
Great Lister Street/Cromwell Street junction, labelled Windsor Street.
Windsor Street, I think it's Avenue Road.
I don't know this one.
John
I know this is the sort of things that gets me mad, when just a little bit of research can get the right answer. We are not talking centuries ago just a few decades. The thing is it's getting more and more frequent and by people and organisations that have the facilities to do better. We can expect people like you and I do make the occasional bloomer, but not so called experts.
Phil
Make Love, Not War
I think this is Avenue Road, going downhill gasometer to left of road, Windsor Street would have been uphill.
Phil, here's the link, it's also labelled Great Lister Street Bordesley.
