Yesterday morning I took a unopened bottle of navy rum out of the cabinet and now it is half empty (a 1 litre bottle). With that and all the drugs the wife has been pumping in to me it no wonder I am unconscious most of the time.
Morning All

I wish I could get the chance to use pubs like I used to, I wouldn't care how much it cost.
hi everyone, am fine now got rid of the nasty cold, Phil if you had the same one as i did its horrible, really pulls you down, took about five days to get rid of it.
looked after grandson today, he was away on holiday last week, two year olds have some energy. he is a funny little chap, does not like the sand pit nor water in the paddling pool if its got bits of grass in.
hope everyone enjoys the weather.
catch you all soon

It does sound pricey Astoness, particularly as it's on offer.
I don't actually know how much beer is, not even down the club. I don't drink the stuff very often and I have always had much more money than drinking capacity, so I have never cared about the cost.
The last price I remember with any certainty is 27p for a pint of Brew Eleven. That was when I started going to the pub in 1976, after that things become a bit hazy.
Volty, I well remember those days when we were in the Yardley Arms I was asked to leave (I was 26 at the time) you were ok and you was actually underage. You nearly laughed yourself sick.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

81? You certainly don't look it signman.
I don't know what that is in decimal but it sounds a bit cold, just like it is here again. Three days of solid sunshine and now it's full cloud cover.

Good Morning Astoness et al.
I wish I had your faith in nature but it looks like rain to me, which is most upsetting because it means I will probably have to go to work.
