Wonders never cease.
I usually have to go and litter pick our part of the road because the council guys can't be bothered, but for the second week running a new guy has done an excellent job.
You and I should use anendlessstreamofvowelsandconsonants to form the words we will use to effectively assemble a forceful tirade of
well constructed sentences which will aid and assist us in our tireless struggle to virtually eliminate verbosity

Morning all
So far warm here but no sun yet, it got up to 80 in the garden yesterday. Mind you my garden is a natural sun trap and we get the sun (if it's out) from about 10 in the morning until it goes down at night. There again none of us are what you would call sun worshippers perhaps because the wife had a scare with skin cancer a few years back. Now she won't go out in the slightest bit of sunlight unless she is plastered with barrier cream, unlike myself who won't go out unless just plastered.

I don't think I have ever had a sun tan in my life, I've always tried to keep out of the sun. Even when younger and had a reasonable physique I never took my shirt off in the sun. Working as I did in a trade allied to the building trade all the young kids were soon stripped off to the waist when the sun came out, but the older hands knew better and kept their shirts on. The next day soon showed who was the wisest.
i agree with you phil...too much sun is not good for anyone...just a few years back when we had a real hot heatwave i thought it would be a good time to cut the grass.it was round about 2 in the afternoon...i was only out for about 15 mins and came over all dizzy..these days in hot weather i try to do the gardening either first thing in the morning or late afternoon when its cooling down a bit.
