What am I an ornithologist? It's got webbed feet and quacks about in water, So whats good for the goose is good for the gander. I couldn't catch the big white thing either.

Actually I thought it was a yacht, thats why I let it go.
It was nice down Cannon Hill Park this afternoon, they have got a lot of kiddies rides and a fair and a beach so they tell me. We didn't get as far as the beach and the fair. We couldn't get past the kiddies ride and the ice cream van.

Alas perfection is a state I try to attain, but I'm afraid I am a little short of that aim yet (only a little).

Where shall I take the grandchildren today? It's been a hectic week off from work with them, good though

Cannon Hill Park at the moment is very good and not very expensive, they have this beach thing going at the moment and a fair where all rides are 50p. If its anything like yesterday park somewhere near the park and walk the rest because the car parks are chaotic.

I don't know how old your grandkids are but here is a photo of some of the kiddies rides, as I say the ones we took were too young for the proper fair so we gave it a miss.

Cannon Hill Park is always a good idea, because if all else fails there is always the nature centre to rely on, but saying that thanks to SB we have discovered that Sheldon Heath Farm down Church Lane in Sheldon is a very good way to kill a couple of hours.
