If you don't want your grandchildren eating MacDonald's don't take them. Simples

So I should act the ogre, what do children know or care about nutrition? As I said if I were that bothered I would have a word with their parents. I'm not going to force my own personal opinions on to others am I? Though I do tell my grandchildren that they are not good for them and they are beginning to ask questions.

Soon be able to close your wallet then.
There are more things to harm children in this world then a occasional MacDonalds

Frothy, I agree but we cant protect them from them all though at least we can warn them of some of the dangers.

I don't mind taking my grandchildren to MacDonalds Phil ( I have 2 by the way mikejee ) If I felt so strongly against it like you, I wouldn't take them in. End of story.

I like MacDonalds, but before anyone else blows a fuse, for medical reasons I rarely partake. But if I wanted a Big Mac or anything else I could and would have it and I wouldnt give a toss what anyone else thought. SB

Exactly SB I can think what I like but in the end it's down to yourself and others what they eat. As my son & daughter allow their children to eat MacDonalds who am I to say that they cant. What amazes me is that if we had offered the son & daughter MacDonalds when they were still living at home, I know for a fact they would have said "are you joking, we are not eating that" There again they eat lots of things now they wouldn't have eaten then.

Why is that SB, my kids & grandkids love veggies, we have one vegetarian of over 10 years standing and another budding one who cant quite make her mind up. Mind I don't agree with veggies either.
