It's the same at work. In the summer the door sometimes gets shut down and in the winter the overhead heaters are a killer.
Some of us work very hard physically and don't need much heating.

morning all...bit nippy again...agree with you john and sb about central heating..im lucky enough to have an electric coal fire effect in the living room so the rad in this room is never on and very rarely use my bedroom rad..i put a little dish of water the rest when on.. and me bedroom and living room window is alway open a touch even in the winter...
have to pop into town later so im on the lookout for workmen to photograph...if i get arrested you can bail me out from steelhouse lane nick..

Morning all,I have no problems with C/H if it is on low,this old house is very cold in the winter though.
Really felt it last winter at times.
morning den..yes i remember you saying how cold the house was last winter...heard on the radio earlier that this winter is to be much the same.....

this nice little rose bowl only cost me a quid over a year ago from a charity shop...just bought it out the cupboard for a better look..its silver plated and not of any worth... by makers lanthe of england...it was the inscription that caught me eye though..reads captains foresome drive in 1984..only sport i can think of is maybe golf...i shall clean it up tomorrow as it may look nice with some flowers in it..

Not to me it doesn't Lyn. I have only ever had one bite out of a MacDonalds burger in my life and I spat that out. Yet I still spend a fortune in the place. I can't keep my grandchildren out of the place.
