Us people never stopped eating real food Phil. None of us live on MacDonalds, but a treat never hurts. It's what's called freedom of choice.
I hate Tea with a passion and can't stand Coconut or Grapefruit but wouldn't dream of criticising the idiots who actually consume that stuff.

SB

Yes I know all that but it's not even real food, have you any idea what the chips are made of? I would hate to think what goes into the burgers. I know they have cleaned up their act since they got caught out but I'm sorry I still think their food tastes and smells like old socks.

I would rather go a little further or a little less whatever the case may be and have fish & chips. Thats another thing, why do you get six chips in a packet for whatever price they charge, when you can get a real bag of chips with 10 times the amount of chips (real chips) for about the same price?

Look on the bright side Phil while all of those people are in MacDonalds / KFC / etc etc. They are not in the places where you eat.

Well each to their own I suppose, but its something that you will never get me eating, and I only wish I could wean my grandkids away from it. If only for the sake of my wallet.

When we were working on the Kingfisher Centre Redditch taking up the floors one of our lads used to nip over to MacDonalds every so often and get a large cardboard cup of Coke. It was about a £1 a time then he did this at least five times a night until they closed. He came back one time and I took the drink of him, I poured the contents in to my half pint coffee mug leaving the ice in the cup and it didn't even fill it. A one and a half litre bottle was about 90p at the time. The next time he went around to a shop and bought a bottle.

The McFlurry's are nice, but as to the rest - if i wanted my food to be chewed up and then regurgitated in a lump , then I would become a baby bird or similar

No one is asking you or anyone else to eat at MacDonalds. To save your wallet why don't you stop taking you grandchildren to these horrible mushy bird eating places where children are forced to eat.
Like myself, my grandchilden eat healthy nutritious food and fruit all week long. Don't hurt them to eat at MacDonalds now and then.
