I removed my radio router and it has been much better, but I'm not sure if its due to that or Virgin sorting the problem. I think I'll put it back and see how it goes. I'll have to, the kids will be down the weekend and if they can't log on there will be murder.

Tthere have been area problems the three times Phil there was a recorded message on the fault no 151 twice and an Indian chap ,who took some understanding , eventually told me it was an area problem the other time . I have to say with the brief conversation I had with him , I would hate to have to sort out a fault with him gjving instructions . He just couldn't speak English at all well

This is my complaint about Virgin's call centre, and the reason why I don't like ringing the fault line. I don't know what sort of an interview prospective employees go through in India or Pakistan or wherever it is located but I'm convinced whoever interviews them can't speak English either.

This I hope explains it Bern
With regard to foreign call centres, I have had occasion to call the Orange service (based in India) regarding broadband problems twice in the last week. I can only say that both of the chaps I spoke to, spoke very clear English, new exactly what they were doing, were very patient with me. They were in no rush and were very helpful. considering I get free internet that can't be too bad. SB

Raining heavily here,I've got sketches and quotes to do for two jobs.
The biggest bookshop in this area has just gone into administration with 300 jobs at stake.
The Kings pub which I did the signs for a couple of weeks ago is now up for sale.

Lucky you SB, perhaps you will also get that mythical free lunch.
Remind me to tell you about Orange customer services sometime, it's rotten from the Managing Director down.

I have had occasion to ring them bt,when i have messed up and son can't be found.........I think they are very good and take you through stuff step by step, the problem is the accent,it is hard to cut through that sometimes, they speak English ok.
When we moved BT service was awful and I was off line for several weeks, nothing much to choose between any Of them I reckon.
