John whatever anyone thinks of the design is of course up to the observer. The original plan was to build it over on the East side. What better place for a reference library than next to Aston university and Matthew Boulon College. Instead it has been squeezed between The Repertory Theatre and has totally spoiled Baskerville House, In my opinion its just Square boxes. It looks like a Foreign Legion Fort coverd in barbed wire. Neither could the City afford it. I hate it absolutely and totally sorry.

Good Morning Astoness, I wasn't trying to hide, honestly. (I must try harder). I was reading the Lea hall Farm thread.
You and I should use an endless stream of vowels and consonants to form the words we will use to effectively assemble a forceful tirade of well constructed sentences which will aid and assist us in our tireless struggle to virtually eliminate verbosity

It's still a bit chilly here in Brum, I've just settled myself down in The Windsor, I am waiting for a mixed Grill.

Phil if the Windsor that you knew had an upstairs room, it was rebuilt a few years ago. I would say it's not a bad average now.
