I was up the hospital this morning, the wife got an automated message the other day saying that she had got an appointment a 9.40 today at the fracture clinic. I thought it a bit strange being a Saturday but as she assumed it must be to remove the plaster cast from her operation the other week we attended to find the department closed.

I learnt a long time ago never to disagree with my wife, if she says she has an appointment on a Saturday then it's not for me to agree by interjecting common sense.

Quote: astoness wrote in post #23508right folks get prepared..its going to be even hotter tomorrow and set to continue all next week
As my wife is unwell and has been since Thursday I have been very busy today. I have had enough for one day. Tomorrow what isn't done by lunchtime doesn't get done.

Sorry to hear that the wife is unwell SB and I hope she is feeling better soon. Remind me not to invite myself to yours tomorrow for dinner if you are doing the cooking.

Hope Jo is better soon x Sorry not been keeping up lately.Had a sad loss in the family and it has sent us reeling. Today has been heartbreaking for me and Jim. Our little westie Belle has died suddenly after becoming suddenly unwell last night. She was throwing up last night and we went to the vet this morning and the vet thought it was some thing to do with the pancreas. He wanted her in overnight for tests and like the fool that I am I was concerned but not overly worried. This afternoon we had a call to say she was going downhill. She passed away after the vet thought their was little more they could do. I am not ashamed to say her loss has broken my heart. She was only 6. So gutted. Will always remember our little Belle.
