SB, I am now cooking my own breakfast,( unlike some people,) bubble and squeak with egg on the top, a healthy nourishing start to the day.
All this talk of breakfast reminds me of the time I went into Dennys (a well known American chain) in Kingman, Arizona, not being a fan of savoury and sweet things together I'd never tried the bacon ,pancakes and maple syrup, so I decided to have it without the syrup, when it came 6 rashers of well done streaky bacon, and 3 pancakes covering the plate with WAIT FOR IT (remember those ice cream scoops they used in days gone by) THREE SCOOPS OF BUTTER. for one second I thought they'ed put ice cream on the pancakes, needless to say I just ate the bacon.
It was the only time I wasn't wished "HAVE A NICE DAY" as I was leaving.

Signman, is it any wonder the yanks are all obese?

morning all,
the rain has stopped and it is Saturday....chance to see my lovely OH.

I am off to see a display of veg this afternoon.....put on by local allotment holders.....had an invatation as I am on the waiting list but as I am about number 93 I think I will be too old by the time my number comes up.

I have my small plot to work on and have been amazed how productive it has been....grew Mr Fothergill,s Enorma runner beans and have picked loads. Some have been so long and straight I would have loved to disply them but the stuff for dislay has to be grown on the lottie.

Have a great day
