Morning Lyn,
I hope it's not as bad as down here, just come back from a little stroll, it's tipping it down.
Hope you get some good photos.

That sounds good Lyn.Hope you enjoy it.

The sun is shining here today in Lichfield.Going to a carvery today for Lunch with my Daughter and family so no cooking today, well I have a chicken to roast but reckon I can deal with that.Trouble is at these carverys I find them all to be very hot and quite often can't wait to get out for some fresh air.....or is it my age LOL

Yesterday spent time with my small Grandson who has Autism His total honesty can be a problem when out and about meeting people........made me realise how many times we say things just to be polite and not really meaning them.......I need to develop a rubber skin and hope that hole will be their for me to drop into LOL

One of the things he does is ifhe does not like your clothes he will tell you and with close family he expects you to go and change..otherwise he can no deal with it.Something to do with certain colours that bother him for some reason.

Such a lot of learning about this condition we have to do....................

morning denise and bless your grandson...i would hope that folk show a little compassion when you are out and about with him..although i think when we dont have an understanding of certain conditions some find it hard..anyhow i agree with you about the carverys they cant be a tad on he warm side..could be something to do with all the cooking that goes on lol...but i do enjoy just having the food put on the plate for me and no washing up either..this canal trip will be a welcome break for me today and i hope to post you some piccies..unless of course i fall in the drink and have to be rescued...[Laugh Out Loud]

Denise

As you will know the trouble with Autism is that sometimes to strangers it is not evident that the child or person suffers from the affliction. This can be really embarrassing, we have a 13 year old granddaughter who suffers with the condition but in her case it is very slight.

She had attended normal school all her life and receives very little special treatment (not that she needs it) Her main problems seem to be getting things to sink in with her and mentally digest them. The other worrying problem seems to be she will say exactly what she is thinking to people even strangers. Which as you say can be quite a problem.

Today is the worst day of the year so far weatherwise, these were taken between 12 and 12.30.

Sun's shining here Signman, 25°C, I'll go and sit in the garden now, that should make it rain.
