SB..i asked you earlier if you had got any work done today...i took it you were having a go at the decking...

No kiddo I have removed the Decking. Today I brought down One and a half tons of sand from the front to the back. Which was very wet so it was very heavy. I am now ready to lay down 600 block paving Blocks. By then my knees will be totally destroyed my ankle will be totally knackered. Ten years ago I would have found this hard work. This will be the last heavy job of this size that this kid will take on. I'll be glad to go back to work for a rest.

just starting tipping it down over here SB ..me goldfish are in danger of ending up down the garden so bail out time...and ive got a canal cruise tomorrow....this is not good at all...

Morning Lyn,SB and anyone else,
Raining here again, I'll never get this fascia done at this rate.
SB, I have never been known to drink on the job, if I was up there that job would have been finished by now, you youngsters just can't hack it.
When I was lad, my gaffer used to walk to Dudley with ladders on a builders handcart (remember those) signwrite a shop front and walk back.
Went for a walk earlier on, came back just as it started to pee down.
No hash browns on that breakfast, and tell Chris I do not like beans and tomatoes together, and I want my eggs easy over, and 4 rounds of toast
with unlimited coffee re-fills thank you.
