Morning all,
I awoke this morning alive and kicking (much to my surprise). Fully fit and bouncing and ready to go, where to I don't know but I'm ready.
I think I can say in all honesty that I have never watched a complete football match in my life, so I was certainly not watching any match last night. If I am honest I will say that I still don't know who was playing what. Whats more I don't care.
morning phil..happy to see that you are fully fit and able to bounce to where ever....even if you dont know where that is... damp and drizzly here..more like a november morning...

Glad to see you are fighting fit Phil, another lady has joined the forum, and we men need all the muscle we can muster. Just thought I would put a bit of colour into old Nechells, this is vaguely the way I remember it.

John
Why is it that scenes in these old photos always seem so much cleaner than I seen to remember they were. Photos taken in the 30's & 40's seem to reflect my memories better, but I can't remember those because I am not old enough.

I think in some ways Phil they were, unless the photographer went along Rocky lane with a broom, there's hardly a scrap of rubbish to be seen. I bet if you could take this photo now, it woukl be a different story.

Afternoon all, (well I have been up 4 hours) very windy and dismal here today, I don't mind this sort of weather. SB, I've opened a new cafe, save you going up the Bull Ring every morning.

In case any of you are interested, there's a photo exhibition by Steve McCurry world famous photo journalist at the Art Gallery up until October. Who's he I hear you ask, well remember this, and the search which was shown on TV to find the girl.
