VM

When we were in the skip game, we would often call to pick up a skip where the contents had been scattered all over the road. Our driver then had to get out and reload all the rubbish because if it was left on a public highway we were liable. If it was off the road, then we left it until the hirer reloaded it.

This was done by skip divers, people who go through skips looking for items of value or use.

Good Miserable Morning All. Just an average November day here in Yardley.

When I had my allotment I was always skip diving with the owners permission and never left a mess.

Phil seems to have missed the morning by 8 minutes, perhaps he was out on the streets of Solihull being mugged, sorry, that should read muggied.

Astoness, Phil is the main distributor of the badges but I will be pleased to send you some of mine if he has insufficient stock.

VM

Morning is when I rise, nightfall is when I retire for the evening. I rarely wear a watch and have got the clock on my computer hidden. I know it's breakfast, lunch and dinnertime when my wife calls me. Other than that time has no meaning to me. Except when all my grandkids descend on the house en masse then I know its time to get the hell out of it.

The cruelty of it, wife making you eat three times a day, poor lad.
