Fantastic I am enjoying a solitary pint of chilled Hogans medium Cider in the Tinkers Rucksack. Absolute heaven.

What did you mean by solitary?
You were alone (not very likely) or you were only having one pint (impossible)?

Dear Mr Voltrum
Thank you for taking an interest in my solitary status today. It would have been unlikly for me to be on an Imbibing session on my own, as you know I am not usually known as a secret drinker especially as you may remember there was always a crowd of us.
Unlikly yes but true. I wanted a bit of peace and the Tinkers is one place I know I can get it, and by George I got it.
You also stated that it would be impossible for me to only have one. It would be perfectly possible for me to have just one pint, but on this occasion as it was very hot and I had worked hard and I was very thirsty so I settled for just a couple more. I hope that this puts your mind at rest and that you won't worry about me all night.

Another very hot sticky day forecast fot downtown Brightonville, there's a full moon in the sky at the moment and sun just rising ,going for my morning stroll before the dreaded solar star starts to do its cooking.

Morning John
I reckon Brighton would be a good place to own an ice cream van today then. Until 2 pm anyway when the footy starts, I thing most places will slow down a bit then. We'll watch it because for one thing it'll be too hot to do much else. The City Centre was heaving yesterday and incredibly hot.
The Bull Ring Bull was rigged up to talk. something to do with Heart FM.
Well got to clean my pond filters first thing, then pop to the shops, mow the lawns and then do not much else hopefully. SB

Morning Lyn, yes it's going to be a scorcher, I have to repair a pub window (not ours) where some p***t pulled it off the hinges.
I've just solved Phils TV shop photo for him on the other site, wonder if he's online whilst on holiday.
Let's hope we win today.

Well, I'm all ready with my tray of snacks and bottles of beer.
I don't normally do football, but I always watch EvG also if we are in the final.
Cooked a large chicken but that will do tonight.
Good luck England.
