I am pleased to report that in Old Yardley, when the pimps, drug dealers, boy racers, drunks and queer suicide bombers have finished tearing about in their noisy plastic jap or kraut crap, an Owl may still be heard calling for his mate.
Just like it would have been in 1010.

A thousand years of progress has produced something that I would happily destroy with one press of a button.
Saved by an Owl and the lack of a suitable button.

good morning all....the snow has gone.....[Skipping Happy] only dowside is as it was sliding off our roof at the back a whole load came down with an almighty crash right onto the lean to and made a great hole in it....upside of that is the lads motorbikes are parked underneath and if the lean too hadnt broken the falling snow the bikes would have been damaged....

I have also been getting my previous post in the reply box. No idea what causes it yet.
It is as if pressing the "Submit" button should clear it at the same time as post it, but fails to clear it.

I have modified the double post settings, which I changed last week in an attempt to eliminate repeat posts. Give it a couple of days to see if makes a difference.

Morning all, no problems this end.
Lyn , make sure you get the proper stuff it should be toughened or have a wire mesh centre, good job you were n't standing underneath it.
It's tipping down with rain here, but very mild. and boring.

Denise

I would rather forget it, I've got to go out into the garden now and try to repair some of the damage it has done so far. I think there will be a lot more yet, but I don't want to leave it until the damage mounts up too much. I'll make a start with the burst pipes in the outbuildings before I take on the damaged guttering and whatever.
