You see I am greedy, I want several. The section of Francis St Nechells, Vincent St Balsall Heath and Larches St Sparkbrook where I lived and I wouldn't mind one of the Tom Thumb public house, Nechells.

There is a terrible one of the Tom Thumb knocking about on the net that I have a copy of and Mikejee almost came up with a copy of my old house in Larches St but it came up short about 4 doors away. Still I never give up hope.

Hi Lyn

I have to be honest and say that photo is no part of Larches St that I recognise. There again parts of the street were extensively bombed during the war. I certainly don't recognise the pub. What was the name of it, do you know so I can have a look in Kelly's. Do you have any information on the photo.

Perhaps June will recognise it as she was brought up in Larches St. She hasn't been on for about a week. I suppose shes down in Devon again with the grandkids.

Lyn

It looks as if its a kids day out to me, and what would the Hockley / Celtic team be doing in Sparkbrook?

If anything it could be the Warwick Arms in Long St which was next to Larches St They had a beer garden at the back that had a gate into Larches St.

Morning Lyn, your'e up early, how's the weather up there, dull and damp here, and just a little bit cooler, just going to have a little walk and watch the police digging up the garden of the house where they think a guy buried 2 girls years ago.
