Got to rush off down the pub,one of the hand pulls has packed up, probably the diaphragm, here's a quickie for starters.

I've heard that John is coming to Birmingham in November, not all that far away now. If it can be arranged for a Saturday Morning when John is here, then I will try my best to make it as well.

I can also jump on a train in to Moor St, I wouldn't drive in as I haven't a clue about the roads or parking.

So see what the party organiser (Lyn) can arrange.

I always park in Bromsgrove St. car park ,well lit, security patrolled and easy access and exit.

I wouldn't know how to get to Bromsgrove St now. Besides if I come by train then if the occasion calls for a snifter I will be able to partake of a glass or two. In moderation of course.

That's my problem Phil, driving means I cannot drink, waste of time having one.
I hope your wife doesn't read this ha ha.
Don't know what date I'll be coming up yet, depends basically on my daughter, I have a sneaking suspicion she's arranging something for my 70th,
So will not know until much nearer the date.

It makes no difference to me, I don't mind waiting. Anyway if its your birthday it makes a good excuse for me to have a little drink. The wife allows me to have a little tipple on high days and holidays. Besides if she knows I am going for a drink she won't want to come. So she won't be able to keep an eye on me.

All I have got to do now is to get you to take the bus. I'm not talking about serious drinking because to be quite honest I know I am not up to it and I'm not silly, but a couple of drams or pints never hurt anybody.

That would be interesting in a one bedroom flat, I managed 8 in a double bed once back in the 60's but the neighbours moaned about the noise every time someone fell out of bed. I think I'm getting a little too old for that sort of thing now. Beside I take up the room for two on my own now.
