This is my dream camera, but at £5,000 ( body only) I will never own one, but if someone wants to buy me a Christmas present I won't say no, ha ha.
Leica was always the best. I don't know if you remember my old mate Bert Strong who I wrote about recently, he had a Leica. It was the first still camera to take 35mm film. The Lenses are awsome quality. SB

Signman, do you have any theories regarding why photo's don't pixelate when zooming in on them in Internet Explorer yet they rapidly become pixelated in Windows Photo Gallery or Paint Shop?

VM, I think it's a question of if the actual programme reduces the quality to start with, I know for a fact that IE doesn't.
Yes Signman, that could be it, I might have expected that from Windows Gallery but not from Paint Shop.
Paint Shop is always complaining about bit depth though anyway, if I edit a RAW file it won't do some things unless I allow it to reduce the bits first, which rather defeats the object of the RAW file.
I think PSP would like a lot more memory than Vista can address. I have 4Gb and vista can only use 3.5Gb, way more than previous versions but still not enough.

VM, I have more or less stopped using PSP.
I only use Adobe now to edit my raw files
All cameras (not compacts) have this mark on, either on top or bottom, who's going to be the first to tell me what it's for.
John are you talking about on the camera body or through the lens.

If it's a mark and not the Battery compartment, what size is it. John. ?

It will be engraved on or printed, in a colour that shows up on the body, the circle will be about the size of this o .
Here's an example.
Must say I have never even noticed it John.

I think it either shows which way up and which way round the camera should be(it's an horizon with a lens over it), or it indicates where to attach the strap.
