This makes sense.
No point in risking getting mixed up in something that is so easily avoided.

Sadly because of the news of the two demonstrations in the City on Saturday we have decided to postpone the meet up on Saturday, We have taken this decision because of Safety concerns for those who will have to travel through the city centre to the venue. Hopefully we will be able to reorganise a new date sometime later in the year.

Nothing Phil.

I was just putting your message at the top of the pile so that it was more obvious and easier to read by people who may not have been aware of the cancellation.

Thanks Volty,

It seems it was little more than a storm in a tea cup, with only 20 arrests and only 3 of them being charged. Mind you after the loss of some £3 million in revenue and that's nor counting the cost of the policing it's a good job for the police that it didn't all go pear shaped.

I think I will leave any attempt at another meet until the Christmas period now.

Hi Phil,

Why not try and get a small ad in the " Brummagem" magazine, or have you already thought of that one ?

Hi Hoppy

Welcome to you, I hope that you will find being a member of this forum a memorable experience. What sort of an ad are you suggesting? Do that many people still buy the "Brummegem" magazine?

SPORTS THREAD

#119 by Sheldonboy , Tue Jul 30, 2013 6:38 am

From today I am opening a sports thread.
I know some members will not welcome this, but other members have been asking for one.
Sporting posts will only be allowed in the sports section only
Anyone not interested in any of the sporting topics just don't go there, no need for negative posting.
THIS IS A TRIAL
Considering the enormity of the subject of sport this could be an attraction to new members. SB
