That's the trouble with artexing once people get the hang of it they tend to go overboard, but for a cheap amateur answer to a damaged ceiling it is ideal.

I should have said a cheap simple answer for any amateur would be to artex a damaged ceiling, an no I'm not inferring that you are simple & cheap.

Hi just popped on for a rest guess what also decorating bedroom started Sunday really fed up now not so much of the decorating but the mess the rest of the house is in, sleeping in spare room don't like the bed when you get up of a morning ache all over, steps, dust cloths etc in conservatory when not in use I don't think I have a tidy room in the house. New wardrobes on order to be fitted sometime in April to give us plenty of time to finish decorating can't rush these things!!!!

If you are all going to talk about decorating, then could you do it quietly, the trouble & strife wants the hall stairs and landing done, paint, paper and new carpet. I told her to get a man in, her reply was I've got one. She didn't like it when I said "well don't let me catch him".

hi june..i know just how you feel....im having a new bed and carpet so from friday morning when i skip the old one i shall be sleeping on the settee until the room is finished...this is the last room in the house to have a makeover and when its finished i am off for a good rest... [Big Smile]
