mike the problem nowa days with buggies is that they are so big and bulky...i had 4 children under the age of 6 so you can imagine the difficulty handling that little lot...but the buggies in my day we really only very basic and could fold up in one foul swoop and we would just put them in the luggage part therefore taking up no room on the actually seating areas...

You know what the trouble with the buses are, it's that malingerer SB sprawling about taking up two seats and changing his seat all the time. Is he back at shirk sorry work today?

I wasn't criticising buggie users in general. I've often seen people take their child out and fold it up so another buggie with a young child can get in. However there are a few who can't be bothered to fold the buggy, even when they have already taken the child out (and this is often the simpler ones that don't take much folding). This often seems to be men on their own. Maybe their wives (or whatever) should insist on them passing a competance course before they are allowed out. If they don't pass then the women should turn herself into Lysistrata ("withhold sexual favours " for those who are not familiar with the story).

Its hardly equivalent to a Greek war, anyway I'm the only one that can collapse the bigger pushchairs our ankle biters have or so the women folk lead me to believe perhaps there is an element of womanly wiles being used. There again they are only used if a car is being used if its a bus journey then they use one of those easy collapsible buggy's

I havn't seen many if any Buggies folded down. I have seen plenty of mothers take their child out of the buggy and put them on a seat, then when the kid starts wailing like a siren
The mother shouts SHURRIT YOU I'm on me phone.

You are the one saying that buses are a good way to travel. If there were still conductors there would be none of this.

They are a good way to travel to and from work, also I live at the end of the route so the mobile misery machines don't affect me much.

Good morning all,
Bus journeys sound absolutely fascinating, you lucky people. Here is me stuck in my boring old car while buses wiz past me in bus lanes whilst being held up by cyclists.
