I don't know the last time I was in Scotland I bagged a brace of wild Haggis. I have to say they weren't wild until I shot them, then they were bloody mad.

I hope you don't mind but I edited your link so that it would work, you had got "with" mixed in with the link. Curious meanings for the word "entire" especially the "not castrated" one. I bet the "& Sons" were glad of that.

Going back a week or so, re- the posts about Harborne Clock Tower I was surprised to find I hadn't got a photo of the tower on file. So I have looked through my books and found this one. So here is a photo (without scaffold) of Harborne Heath Board School as it was once known.

I have got The Images of England book "Harborne" by Martin Hampson. The trouble is I am running out of bookspace and I have now resorted to putting them in drawers, the problem being they get forgotten that way. The main trouble is I have so many books on different subjects, I think I will have to thin them out a bit by having an Ebay sale. I will just hang on to the Birmingham ones.

Here's the proposed designs for the new signs, they decided against the old look fearing it would look out of place, said they wanted a more classier look, the building will be re-painted in appropriate colours. (bet they change their mind again) I'm dealing with the lady of the house, a very nice young one I must say (and that's whats got me worried).
