Evening all........not much to report.....Bought a lovely Laura Ashley lamp base for a fiver today from the charity shop.....bargain as these are quite expensive.

Oh almost forgot I saw my Daughter's scan picture today, the second one they have taken and can't get over how much he or she has grown. So easy to see this is a baby.Lovely.

Well I suspect she maybe would like a girl as she has a son but don't think she minds too much.

They do not want to know the sex before the birth and I am in favour of that.

So much nicer buying girl baby clothes though LOL

Denise

Though my thoughts are, that the sex of a child doesn't matter as long as it is born healthy and fit. I do think that however these days there seem to be more problems with girls while they are growing up. I don't mean social problems, but rather they want more of their own way than boys. I think most lads are willing to accept limits while girls tend to push them more. Is that just me and my family or is that the general situation.

I don't think that is strictly true, they might drink more expensive drinks. I would think it extremely doubtful that they would equal the quantity drank by some of the drinking buddies that I knew. There was Hillary the old Pole (smashing bloke) who would come in the pub and order 3 pints, by the time he sat down at a table he had drunk two of them.

Hello Lyn,
How ya duin, just going to have my late dinner and a couple of tots of Glenfiddich 12 year old.
Early start in the morning to finish of the job I've been on all day, about an hour on site and another one bites the dust.
Then have to re-vamp a pub back to what it was like in this beautiful old photo which I love.
