Same here.
Been having a bit of trouble with my right hand and wrist lately, put it down to RSI too many hours on the computer, I use a rollerball and graphics tablet and spend up to 8 hours a day doing graphics, now looking into alternatives like a trackpad, or laptop, trouble is laptops are not strong in the graphics area, and I can't afford,nor do I want to spend £1000 on an Applemac.

thats bit of a problem for you then john....i have a lappy but of course it does me for the limited need i have but as you say not very good for your needs....

Yes Lyn, no trouble when I'm signwriting, it's only the repetitous movements caused by the rollorball, I gave up on the mouse because of the same problem, but I've been using the ball now for 3 or more years, it's fine when I'm off the computer, even after an hour or so no trouble at all,
the only other thing it could be is CTS (CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME) which is more or less the same difference.

The only thing I know about Carpal bones is when I broke them as a teenager. I took a swing at someone and missed them and hit a door I had my fist clenched around a roll of bandage and taped up for six weeks.

Ha ha, Phil last time I did that was a few years ago throwing some dreg out of the pub, he went to kick me and I gave him a swift left one to the jaw, my little finger took most of the force, I now have a permanent kink in it which has gradually evolved over the years, but it's no trouble.

Surprisingly it's a common fracture for people who have been in a bit of a rut. The doctor at the Accident hospital knew straight away how I had done it. After I had given him a fairy story about how I had done it (which I don't remember) he just looked at me and said "the next time you swing a punch, don't miss".
