morning voltly...not sure if when you say the good old days if you are referring to being married (prob not lol) or the fun we had as kids..which brings to mind one of our little tricks as kids...we would make a fair size snowball..lob it onto the neighbours roof..knock the door and watch the snowball gather pace and size and pray that the door opened at just the right time...

That is of course unless Tesco wants to put a store there.

Remember Hot aches?
Quote..
The hot aches (also known among North American ice climbers as the screaming barfies is a very painfully physical reaction to the cold, most often felt in the hands or feet. When exposed to the cold, blood stops flowing normally to the extremities. Later once you warm up, the blood begins to flow again; this causes the pain known as the hot aches.

Just been to Morrisons, they are introducing a new range of packed meals, I never buy anything pre-packed, but I had a look at a couple, are people mad, pack of jacket potatoes, 325 gr.£ 2.99, works out to about £6 for a lb of spuds.
My daughters village which is at the foot of Bredon Hill, is geared up to get busy now the story is breaking about the massive hoard of roman coins found there last week.
Are they on display then, Signman?
The coins, not the taters.

I suppose the metal detectors will be there in their hordes digging up the countryside. I'd be cleaning my shotgun and starving the dog if I lived there.

Excellent idea, I have a customer on the back of that estate. I would be able to go shopping every time I work there.
I just find there aren't enough supermarkets for me to drive past.

Astoness, you're very naughty.
Phil, they can dig up the countryside if they want, it will be a useful precursor to building all over it.

Yes John people are mad, just look at what they will buy. Packs of ice cubes, bottles of water, frozen mashed potato. You may say well thats not so bad. I would probably agree with you except for the water, but just look at the prices they charge.
