This is just the right weather for walking the dog, not too cold, but not too warm either. As long as it stays dry I am happy.

You two are lucky, after losing our dog a couple of years ago we realised it's not a fair time to have a dog as there is no-one at home all day. But hopefully one day.

If I was a Dog and it was a choice between being in the dog's home or with loving owners out all day I know what I would choose.

You are qite right Den but a dog in our house at the moment would be left for 8-10 hours a day for 5 days a week, and that would be neglect without question.

Well SB there is neglect and neglect.In a time when so many dogs are being put down I think this option is better than death.Not great for a very young dog but an older dog would in the main Just kip in my experience.

It is not an ideal world.

As I said not yet, as we get nearer retiring age we may thing of a couple of rescued Greyhounds.
