In my case it would have to be a motorised trolley, as she doesn't drive but you are quite correct, you are also right about Snobs see the games thread.
I don't know anything about bell ringing but they play for about an hour before service on sunday and about two to three hours on a monday night when they practise.
They are always the same going through various peals the only bit I recognise is the wedding bells bit about 3/4 of the way through.
Much prefer Evensong when a gentle tolling of a single bell calls you to service.
Does anybody listen to Radio 4 ,used to be up very early on a sunday morning and they used to play recordings of bells wonder if they still do it ?
I know thy still play sailing by in the late evening and I always have liked that tune.
Hi Ya Bernie St. Giles Church Sheldon has a really nice set of bells. They were ringing when we went to a Christening there a couple of weeks ago. It was interesting because we could see the bell ringers from inside the church.
I started out with nothing and Iv'e still got most of it left
