Good morning everyone, a bit of a dull start for today, but don't worry, Thunderstorms are forecast, as they were yesterday and we had the last night.
Have a nice day.

Well it started at 6 O'clock I put my bin bags out and it was bucketing down on the way to the bus stop.
Halfway to town now and it's still hammering down even if the sky is brightening up.

In all day decorating bedroom.
Hi John you won't get wet today then, not on the outside anyway.

Morning all...........I'm singing in the rain just singing in the rain..............
I opened my front door and a lovely bunch of sweet peas on the step last night...........my friend had picked them from her garden....what a nice surprise.
Won't worry about watering on the Allotment today.

Morning all,
It looks fine here at the moment, but I suppose the big question is "will it or won't it"?

Halfway trough the bedroom and the sun comes out typical.
Two books here worth a look, definately the second one.

Looks interesting John, but I think I'll wait and take a look at in the library before I buy. As a lot of these maps books like pictorial books are just a rehash of old books with one or two new items added for interest.

Phil, agree, but I 'VE JUST READ A REVIEW WHICH SAYS ILLUSTRATED IN COLOUR WITH 30 PAGES OF TEXT AND 60 PAGES OF MAPS, ( didn't notice caps on).
Doesn't sound like good value to me 90 pages for £24 with postage, there's an original one on e-bay for £7.50.
John
It's not the price that bothers me so much (although I don't like being robbed), but it more the fact that a lot of these publishers seem to being the same thing these days and milking what they can from a few maps or photos by publishing them in as many books as possible. I ended up buying a lot more books than I needed to for just a couple of photos until I caught on. So I now wait until the library gets a copy then I nick down there for a look.
If the book is completely new then I will buy a copy, otherwise I will just forget about it.
