Lyn, regarding your chimney, don't paint it just let it weather naturally,shame it was painted in the first place, but everyone did that,much nicer to have it looking weathered.

Well I've got next week planned.
Andy my mate who runs the neon shop is off to Spain today to do an installation in a night club, and he has asked me to run the shop for him while he's away for a week.
This will fit in nicely with me doing the Amsterdam job.

Sun has now come out and very warm, just in time for the childrens parade,every school in Brighton,(46 at last count) makes giant models based on a theme and marches through the city, culminating in a huge party on the seafront,right in front of the neon shop where I'll be all next week,so glad it's today, there's only so much drumming you can stand.

It all sounds great for the kids who I suppose will enjoy every moment of it. Try to get us some photos. Sadly we have nothing like that in Birmingham now unless you want to count Gay pride. St Patrick's day and the Handsworth Carnival then yes, but for Brummie kids nowt.
