i know we need it for the gardens SB..im fed up of having to get the hose pipe out..me grass has to be kept wet as this year ive put down the evergreen weed and moss killer and its looks a right mess at the min..plenty of black patches until the grass starts growing again...]

Morning John, yes we really need a lot more rain, although we'll moan when we get it. since when did you do idle days. I'm surprised that you are not a model maker with your talents and experience.

SB, I 've been thinking for a long time about building a model of a genuine New York diner, the aluminium art deco style with formica interior etc.
I'm just doing a mock up drawing at the moment, it will be in balsa wood,( very easy to work with).
I'll post a photo when I've finished the drawing.
You must have read my mind.

morning john...dam storm woke me up last night...well ive got my day planned out but i wont be doing anything strenuous today..just had two bacon baps for brekkie that should keep me going until about 9 oclock[Little LOL]

You may have seen one or two of my models on the Forum John. Matchstick models (No I have never done a stretch inside).
I am thinking of building a JCB I just have to draw up th plans.
