When someone says that that they do not find something funny or that they disagree with something it can hardly be described as fighting. Myself I thought forums were all about airing the different way members looked at things.
While this is being done in a civilised manner and without resorting to bad manners and name calling and others such things, then I see no harm in a difference of opinion. After all as I keep saying if we all agreed with each other all the time it would be a pretty dull place.

right then ive repainted the cast iron and put one coat of dark oak on the table top...looks like im looking at 3 coats for that...

The ideal thing would be to sandblast the cast iron rather then paint them, but I suppose that would work out too expensive.

You could always hire a sand blaster and use it inside the shed, you could clean the brickwork on the outside of your house at the same time.

The only trouble might be the sandblaster might blow the side out of the shed, or it might lift Lyn off her feet and fly off with her like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.
