Well thats it now, all over bar the shouting. To be honest I don't know what all the fuss is about, how many of us celebrate Christmas for the original reasons? We should have some sort of a reorganised holiday, it has gone from two days to two weeks in my lifetime. I always used to be back at work the day after Boxing day and I was glad to be there.
morning phil..think you will find that everyone is back at work today unless as in my eldests sons case the firm has a shutdown until the 2nd of jan..youngest one worked christmas eve and is back today.. ive just been up the hawthorn road and all the shops are open..still bucketing down..

That may be Lyn, most of the shops have been open since yesterday, but I think you will find most of the industry in this country is closed until January 2nd and even later. We used to have contracts that needed completing but we were not allowed to get at them until after the holidays.

Lyn apart from shops most places are closed until the 2nd Jan$ even if we went in all our suppliers and Carriers are closed down, so even if we could produce any work we couldn't deliver it.
