If they try & replicate the odds and ends as well it should not blend in too badly. As to the artificial stone cladding, it looks like what i would expect to find lining the stairs down to a public toillets. Mind you, anyone using american express is probably flushing their money away, so it might be appropriate

I have voted in the photo competition so thats what it might refer to.
Getting back to the houses, it must be some sort of metal cladding then, some sort of powdered coated sheeting. i hope the roof space is well insulated or the noise in the bedroom when it rains will be unbearable.

A lot more suitable for a record than a large % of those included of the "how many people can you get in a mini " or "the most body piercings in one session" variety. It is these sort of things that make the whole idea, which started as a reasonable thing, ridiculous.
