I come from Chichester originally. If i was at school there today i don't think I would be very happy with my local paper's opinion of me via their headline on the website. They can't have any sub editors left on the paper to make that sort of mistake

No we are not doing anything because everywhere gets so crowded Bank Holidays. It was for that reason we took the grandkids to the Severn Valley Railway last week and it was crowded enough then. I think we may do something at the end of June. We might have another week away with some of the kids or at very least a long weekend. Then I'll have to sort something out with a nice hotel for me and the wife later. I might try the Lake District or even Scotland.

phil the lakes are very nice as you will know if you have been before...scotland is also good..gets better scenery wise the further north you go...ive lost count of how many times we have been to the severn valley railway with the kids...even been a few times when they were grown up..

Never going abroad for holidays unlike most English people I have seen a good piece of our little island over the years. Having said that I fear there are still many parts that I will never see. The thing is that there are so many places of interest to see. The older I get the more I wish that I had spent more time visiting different places, the trouble is so many places are so good you just have to keep going back.

same here phil ive never been abroad...ive always been quite happy to holiday on our little island..

I went on a day trip a few years ago to Keswick and the Lakes. The coach left us behind in Keswick so I don't have very good memories of that area. My kids still find it hilarious though.
