Just got caught in a bit of a shower in Solihul. About to have my Retina check at the Opticians not looking forward to the drops, they sting somewhat.

I've just got back from Wythall and we called at Tesco in Shirley, as we pulled onto the car park there was a torrential downpour of hailstones. We had to sit in the car for about five minutes until it gave over a little.

The wife has tried to have me planted a few times, but even that has never worked. All I need is to grow another four inches so I can reach the top shelf in the newsagents.

Such rain......

Jim and I have been to buy wallpaper today.Bought a nice Edwardian type design sort of pale blue and cream with a plain cream with a touch of glitter in it for over the fire.This I am told is the fashion at the moment.Man coming to do the work next week.

Had a unpleasant man in the carpet place tell me he would not come to remeasure as I enquired over three months ago unless I paid thirty pounds.

I was going to order but said no ta and walked out.I only live a five minute walk away .Did he really think I would give him our money with that attitude.

Can really sing the praises of Decor supplies Lichfield...chap was so attentive and a big help.
