Yes I see the latest idea where they are advocating neighbourhood courts where you can drag local offenders and make them say sorry and promise to be good and not to do it again. How gullible do they think we are?

Going back to the water situation, I see our local supplier (Severn Trent) is going to start selling our water to the East Midlands so having the best water supply infrastructure in the country will make no difference our water supply will soon be on rationing. So our grandparents paid all those extra rates for years for nothing.

Phil re: Police privatisation. At one time Prisoner transfer (Black Maria) once done by Police now done by private company. Police station front offices once manned by Police now manned by Civilians. Many more jobs are on the cards to be taken over by civilians. Supposedly to free up officers for (real) Police work. This is at a time when Police officers are being made redundant.

Look that nice Mr Cameron has got to find some way of saving some more money so that he can fund some more tax cuts for his buddies. They are so hard pressed they don't know where their next million is coming from.

I have just been out for an hour (managed a Wetherspoons breakfast in The William Tyler a really nice pub used to be Woolworths at the Yew Tree Yardley) It was torrential when I went out, blazin warm sun now. Female weather, it can't make its mind up.
