Just a gentle reminder that th 23rd of April is St Georges Day. On the 21st (Saturday) there is a free outdoor event in Victoria Square Birmingham from 11am-5pm. http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/st-george

Also an excellent concert in Symphony Hall Broad Street Birmingham from 6pm-9pm.

Good morning to you all, yes it looks like it could be another dry day (hopefully). Anybody who says we need the rain can have my share. If these so called water companies looked after the resources that they have better we wouldn't be in a drought situation at the moment.

The problem is, they are too busy paying out premiums to their investors instead of re-investing the money where it is needed back in the companies. Water should never have been privatised, or should the power companies.

SB

Yes I see the latest idea where they are advocating neighbourhood courts where you can drag local offenders and make them say sorry and promise to be good and not to do it again. How gullible do they think we are?

Going back to the water situation, I see our local supplier (Severn Trent) is going to start selling our water to the East Midlands so having the best water supply infrastructure in the country will make no difference our water supply will soon be on rationing. So our grandparents paid all those extra rates for years for nothing.
