phylis nicklin didnt take photos of pubs...so far no photos of the red lion has been found and if i had one i couldnt post it...

I used to work in Hatchett St off Summer Lane. I remember The Barrell. About halfway down I think.

the barrel is the only pub on the lane now that is still pulling pints...refurbed a couple of years back and re opened...

Two of my ancestors had the Red Lion. It was at 210 Bridge Street West, on the corner with Summer Lane where the police station is now. The station used to be further up Bridge Street.
