VM, I do not post dubious links, you may have to enter your e-mail, but all you will get is a request to update it to the latest version.
Most firms do this as a matter of course, this is how they make money, just ignore the request, it is a full working version, and on par with Adobe photoshop.
I have used Serif for the last 10 years, having most of their programmes apertaining to graphics and photography, and for the price, they cannot be beaten in any aspect, check any review you find in any magazine and they come out top.
I do not have any affiliation or connection with them whatsoever.
Here's another link if you doubt my word.

Please don't think I was having a dig at either yourself or your software recommendation.
If you say it is worth having then that is good enough for me.
My problem is that I never give out my main email addresses, or use my real name, for people I don't intend to trade with. This means I will have to make one up for serif which I can delete later if it attracts too much mail or they give it out to other companies. This I will do using one of my domain names or the BT service to allow temporary throw away addresses on my BT Internet account.
If I was at my desk instead of on a netbook I would have done it straight away but as I can't accurately remember my logins and all attempts to get into my own accounts have so far failed it was too painful to continue.
It's cloudy and windy here today and we have nowhere to go, so I may put my magnifiers on and give it another try.

No problem VM, it is a very good free version of one of the best photo applications, albeit a bit dated, but still does most of what photoshop can do.
All you will get is serif asking you if you want to upgrade to the next version, no pressure and in 10 years they have never passed my details to anyone.
Have a nice day, warm and sunny here.

I downloaded the Serif software and tried it on a couple of file but found it a bit slow on this netbook.
It is clearly well featured and does more than I require so I will be putting on my main machine when I get home.
It is all a bit academic anyway regarding my current situation as I have just discovered that I can edit and resize photo's in my camera.

Not yet Signman, my main PC is very busy with programming at the moment so I haven't even installed it yet.

This camera looks like a good one.

Not so good when you read the review Volty.
http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/f...iew/conclusion/
Sometimes the reviewer is an idiot or a yank or worse still both though Signman, in this case I'm not sure although I suspect he uses oxygen free copper for his loudspeaker cables.
Amazon's reviews, by ordinary people, are pretty encouraging.
Perhaps it would be a good camera for those of us that like to take pictures without worrying if they are good enough for the poster sized edition of Anoraks Weekly, Colour Supplement.

Yes Signman.
I first used it early last year and decided to give it another outing.

Re the FinePix HS20EXR, i withdraw my recommendation.
The camera is badly let down by the battery arrangement.
It only uses AA Alkalines. re-chargeables are never a good substitute and the whole thing becomes painful either way.
