This is one picture I have taken with my new camera. I was about 50 yards away about 20 feet up at tree.
A young Collared Dove I think.

I would like to know who has trained the birds that visit my garden. I can be surrounded by them. But as soon as I pick my camera up, not one. Is it just
me.?

In my case SB I think the birds have have a spotter. Its a little robin that is always about somewhere, even if I don't see him, and he always is looking at me with a sideways look, even through the sliding doors .

Heres an interesting article about five important cameras in the history of photography.
"Five game-changing cameras that turned us into photographers"
Note the 1997 Sony Mavica, SB posted a photo of one in our Picture Gallery.

Funny I only read this article this morning. The Sony Mavica was given to me when my mates dad died. It still works well but of course well below modern standards.
