just a quick update folks...the postal plaque has now been collected from me by the royal mail...they hope to have it in place at the national memorial arburetum in alrewas in about 3 weeks time with a nice wooden plaque to go alongside saying where the men came from...next step after that will be a rededication service with hopefully a couple of men dressed in ww1 uniform also the last post will be played..really pleased that all this can be acheived well in time for the centenary of the great war...i am well pleased

Just read the latest on the plaque lyn,bet you feel proud of your achievement ,are you going to the rededication, you should be their guest, as without you none of this would have happened, hold your head high and be proud, good for you.

thanks again everyone and yes i do feel proud to have had a hand in making sure these 7 men will always be remembered..its how it should be...i will be going to the rededication service and hoping that members of the family of 2 of the men will be there as well...excuse the pun but i will keep you all posted..

great news folks..another rellie of one of the 7 men has been found...so now we have rellies of

ALBERT SHARP
CORNELIUS NEAL AND NOW
HENRY JAMES HOLMES...

and they all want to attend the re dedication service (no date as yet for that )
