I'll tell you what, I'm willing to sleep in any supposedly haunted place. I've slept in a graveyard or two in the past. I've even slept in a church and never received any visitations.

SB
This was pre drinking days, when I could only afford the odd pint of scrumpy now and again. Besides I didn't need alcohol or drugs to keep me happy in those days.

Phil, can you remember how much you paid for Scrumpy in those days, in Mothers club it was 1/6d a pint. Mind you on the odd occasion it was like Apple Vinegar.

I can remember paying 10d for a pint of rough at the Greyhound on Holloway Head, but I think down Devon & Cornwall way it was a little cheaper than that, In the right pubs that is. It was fine after you fished the apple cores out.

I used the Greyhound a couple of times, one pub I did like though was the Davenports pub close by, the name escapes me at the moment, but I did enjoy Davenports Continental Lager.

I suppose if you do beleave in one it does make it easier to beleave in the other,,,,,,,,,,,,my own thoughts are we know nothing yet.We are tiny specks living on this planet and we have not even started to know what is around us.....I find it hard to beleave we are all there is.
Phil,I too could hang around churches in the dark, churches do not frighten me.
A ghost in a semi would have me on the run though LOL.
Denise, and every one else, my thoughts are as follows,we do not know where we come from and do not know where we are going apart from a furnace, the human mind cannot comprehend the vast distances involved with the galaxy, and if you even start to think about such things you'll go doolally, no one has ever come back to tell us what awaits us because there is nothing, make the most of what you've got, you are here once and once only.
John
I agree with you so much, and I put religion and the paranormal down to the same thing. A fear of the unknown.

I have heard that before John, I am sure we met in the Crimea.

Why would we need to come back??
Maybe Ghosts as we think about them are just like looking at a long ago thing that happened....a bit like a film...seen by us in a way we can not understand.
