Hopefully the next shortage will be customers.

You never know how little you need something until it's taken away, even a takeaway.

Must be a big problem this food business. Jamie Oliver is closing some of his Restaurants. He must be panicking now he is only worth around £400 million. I suggest we do a bit of crowd funding for him.

I could get a crowd together but they wouldn't be wanting to fund him.

For the price of just a steak in any of these "Yes Chef" restaurants I can buy over a pound if best beef fillet.
For the price of just one of the so called "side dishes" to go with it I can buy enough veg to last a week.
For the price of the house wine I can buy a case of something I know I like.
For the price of the unearned service charge I will happily wash up twice.

Dinner will be cooked to perfection by someone I trust, it will be served fresh from the oven on a searing hot plate and there will be plenty of it.
I won't have to wait twenty minutes for some self important waiter/entertainer to bring the "side dishes" that should be on the already cold plate in the first place.
It won't take until I'm finished eating for the four day old mustard to put in an appearance, the wine won't be musty, there won't be any noisy little brats around and there won't be any diseased people coughing all over the place.

Is it any wonder people don't go out to eat so much?

If we were to convert all the redundant restaurants into housing it might aid the housing problem. And if we were to knock down all those ridiculous football stadiums around the country and build houses.flats on the sites for reasonable rent, then the housing problem would probably largely be solved

I still say that the answer to the food shortage is cannibalism. There are far too many people about, it would cut down populations, not so many houses needed, it would stretch the water supply etc etc etc...........................

Boris would be a bit too fatty , Farge would be far too slimy , and would make me sick and almost certainly give me food poisoning, and all those public school lot would probably give me a very nasty disease from their habits

Another problem KFC have is their inability to put prices on their on-line menu.

They call it a "Bargain Bucket" but won't tell you how much it is. They don't even deliver.
Judging by the pictures on their website it's obvious what the bucket is for.
