A spot of colour on a dull, dreary, drab, but dry day, we have the half marathon today, makes me tired just watching them, at least it's not bad weather for running.

Just read sheldonboys post up the wooden hills and don't let the bed bugs bite.

That must be brummy because me Mum and Dad always said that LOL

In full I think it is up the wooden hills to Bedfordshire.

Den most nights I would climb the wooden hill to anywhere.

Yes very interesting, so how come I hadn't got a clue about most of what they were on about, perhaps I'm still living in 1900.

It just shows Phil how fast our little world is changing. Teachers today are trying to prepare our kids for tomorrows world and they know that by the time they leave school most of what they are learning now, at least technology wise will be obsolete.
for example we have a guy at work who builds Websites for companies, he has to re learn a lot of his knowledge on an annual basis just to keep up with the changes.
when we go and buy a computer it's already out of date. The next generations of computer are already in the design and build pipeline.
my wife has just had an Android phone, it's far more powerful than most computers were just a short time ago.
We take it for granted that we are a very advanced country but we are being left further behind every day. SB

I shouldn't worry Phil. It is just a few facts thrown together with a bit of waffle ("a superconductor will be found that is faster than the human brain"- superconductors carry electricity and don't in themselves compute, so ,as i said, supercilious waffle). The poster seems to be into gaming, and you can do or say anything in a game, and still be a pratt as he is.

Well a superconductor whatever it is won't have much problem beating me They don't have conductors on the buses any more do they? , my brain is about as fast as a snail.

Evening all, had a lovely day in a couple of pubs, having a good natter, and eating free food.
Time now to cook something, not much, maybe an omelette, and then off to bed ,early start in the morning, I listen to radio 5 all night
between naps, and after a couple of hours I'm raring to go.
